Nacho chips also known as tortilla chips is Mexican food. It is made from corn tortillas which are made into wedges and then deep-fried. Nachos are created by layering refreshing tomato salsa over a bed of tortilla chips. It can be eaten as a light lunch or savory snack to grab anytime.
Ingredients:
Chips
Cornmeal |
1 cup |
All-purpose
flour |
½ cup |
Salt |
½ tsp |
Carom
seeds |
½ tsp |
Oil |
2 tbsp. |
Water |
To knead |
Recipe
1. Add Cornmeal in a bowl
2. Add all-purpose flour
3. Add salt, carom seeds and oil
4. Add water and knead tight dough
5. Knead the dough for five minutes
6. Keep the dough aside for half an hour
7. Take some oil on palm and knead the dough for a minute
8. Divide the dough into lemon size balls
9. Roll out the dough into flat
10. Dust with dry flour to prevent sticking
11. It should be evenly thin
12. Prick it with a fork
13. Cut it into equal eight slices
14. Fry the chips in oil under low heat
15. Fry both sides until golden brown in color
16. Drain oil and transfer chips on a plate
Tomato salsa

¼ Red Onion

A bunch
of coriander |
2-3 green
chilies |
half avocado |
2/3 cup
Boiled corn |
2/3 cup
Boiled red kidney beans |
½ tsp Red
chili powder |
½ tsp powder |
1 tbsp.
Lemon juice |
Salt and
pepper as taste |

1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl
2. Add spices and mix
3. top with grated cheese and mayonnaise sauce
